Kumarakom Bird Sanctury
The beautiful sanctuary on the eastern banks of the Vembanad Lake is an ideal place for back water cruises organized by the Kerala Tourism Department. Spread over 14 acres of bush greenery and blue waters, Kumarakom offers sanctuary to various birds including waterfall, water ducks, cuckoos and Siberian stocks which rest and spend time summer here.
